2019 Great Britain 1 oz Gold Royal Arms NGC MS-70 (First Releases)
Celebrate the majesty, power, and history of Great Britain with this Gold Royal Arms. The coin is a beautiful showcase for one of America's closest allies and would make a fantastic addition to the collection of anyone who honors that relationship. It was struck from 1 oz of .9999 fine gold at the British Royal Mint.
- Contains 1 oz of .9999 Fine Gold.
- Jody Clark's still young obverse design, a right-side portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, features on the coin's obverse. Clark shows the monarch wearing her Royal Diamond Diadem, which she wore at her coronation, and earrings. Her name and abbreviated Latin title, "ELIZABETH II D G REG F D" (Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God, Queen, Defender of the Faith) join "100 POUNDS" on the rim to encircle the effigy.
- Timothy Noad's reverse design features the current royal arms. At the center is a crowned shield that is divided into four quadrants. Two bear the three lions of England, while the other two show a lion rampant, a symbol of Scotland, and a harp, a symbol of Ireland. A crowned lion roars to the left, and the Unicorn of Scotland springs out on the right. Inscriptions read, "2019," and "1 OZ FINE GOLD 999.9."
